Marghazhi Vaibhavam Episode 8 Review By Indra

With stylish lip reading, yet clear diction by Sweet Jayalakshmi, marked the ninth day of Marghazhi festival. The Sandal coloured sari and the maroon blouse was as a whole treat for the eyes! She looked particularly very beautiful today!

In Dhinanthorum Thiruppavai, G. Ramanathan rendered the soul touching pasuram in neat Dhanyasi, in his Saxophone! He is able to actually sing through Saxophone, as never find the difference between vocal singing and his recital through this melodious instrument!

In " Muppadhum thappamal" Sri. U. Ve. Karunagarachariar's interaction with us was like the smooth flow of Kuttralam Falls. He has so many thoughts in mind even for a single line. He is able to give many down to earth examples, for any litener to understand instantly! He is the most gifted Swami. While comparing the Bhakthi of five lakhs of Gopikas in ratio with only one Andal, he expresses with much ease, the might and power of Andal's bhakthi, that is beyond comparison and that has no boundaries! She herself cannot gauge her own level of bhakthi, affection and ultimate surrender for the Lotus Feet of the Lord! Swamigal rightly chose the punch dialogue of Rajnikant "Naan oru dhadavai sonnal nooru dhadavai sonna madhiri", to express the intensity of the bhakthi of the Thaayar, as we are more in touch and much familiar with Rajnikant's dialogues, rather than Andal's pasurams and the inner meaning of the divine lines! The lighter vein of the Swamigal, makes anybody learn the truth of life just by focussing our attention in total surrender at HIS FEET!

Swami's vivid and very interesting description of "Padhuka Sahasram" Stotram defined by Srimadh Vedantha Desikar, was very engrossing and compassionate. The Lord presents Himself in all the diamonds of the Padukas, and endless millions of HIS "Bimbams" can be seen By Desikar swamigal!

Sri. Naradhar's curiosity to know about the huge number of wives of Lord Krishna, the minute details about "Rappaththu Ursavam", "Adhyayana Ursavam", "Araiyar Ursavam" and the simple words that the Swamigal used to describe the affection of Andal towards Her Lord , had made this episode so special and very interesting! We do not want to miss even a minute of the Swamigal's discourse!

The finest detail that Sri Andal Is the "Patta Maghishi" of Sri RangaMannar at Srivilliputhur and that She is surrounded by Ubhaya Perumal, and stands Supreme as the Goddess of the temple at Srivilliputhur is the most adorable information! This is in contrary to all the temples, where The Supreme Perumal is enshrined with Thaayars! As we are hearing this detail from the Swamigal, we feel the goose pimples on ourselves, indicating the ecstatic feeling, that we have undergone!

Like" News in a Nut-shell" which is always more interesting, the tit-bits, in this "Marghazhi Vaibhavam" episodes, the Team never have failed to enthrall the viewers with the most unexpected and fascinating details of all the celebrations, associated with the Vaibhavam!

The sincerity and love for the beautiful "Jadai" that the lady does for Andal Thayar, shows her immense devotion for Sri. Andal! Seeing the art, with the base from plantain tree and the flowers that form a beautiful design, we envy the person who is so fortunate to serve the Goddess of splendor! The photos taken very closely, display not only the entire design of the "Jadai" but also the devout expression in the eyes of the devotee, who considers her profession as the highest of dignity and affection! The flowers vary according to the seasons is a "kosuru" detail of interest!

Endless rhyming verses of "karai" from Jayalakshmi was pure "Sarkkarai" to our ears in the "Vaigarai" hours of Marghazhi!

Both Akkarai S. Subhalakshmi and Akkarai S. Sornalatha are loaded with multi talents of being both Violinista and Vocalists! When they are able to show explicit talents in both the competitive fileds, it is imminent that they are trained so vigourously by their Father, S. Swaminathan initially! Both of them started playing Violin and also singing from 1997 onwards! The poignant experience of praise by a rasika in the 1998 concert, is another feather of merit in their cap! Both of them look very pleasant and spoke so homely and fluently about their experience! They expessed their gratitude towards Tavil Vidwan Palanivel for appreciating and encouraging them! We viewers felt the feeling of identifying ourselves with the sisters instantly, for their simlicity!

The sisters had a final sweep over us with their unique kriti in ragam Shanmughapriya, literally bringing down the "Vadivelan" from His Abode to the close vicinity of the sisters! The poetic and meaningful lyrics and the melody were outstanding! " Velai padivadhu nam velai! Namadhu vinaiyellam theerppathu Kumaranin velai(Vel)"!! The meanings are extraordinary!

Yet another day, full of very interesting snippets and very elaborate explanations, which we should keep in mind permanently!
