Devoted ladies in "Madisar" standing at the back of the Saxophone performance and enjoying the vibrating pasuram of the second day of Marghazhi is absolutely divine and evoking a lot of mental satisfaction for the viewers! The atmosphere, the music and the unflinched devotion for the Lord is infectious and mesmerising! Thanks to Vijay TV for taking us to another abode of endless joy and dedication to the Lord! Thanks again for the sponsors, GRT Jewellers and City Union Bank!
Even for a toddler or a teenager, other than the regular fans of the Swamigal, his simple and down to earth explanation holds the lynchpin of this well choreographed programme!
Starting from the Bhakthi of Periazhwar towards the Lord, he personifies Andal as one of the twelve Azhwars, who imbibed all the resources of the Azhwars as a whole and is destined to impart all the values fully to the Universe, through her Pasurams not single handedly, but with her unfailing friends(Paavaigal), who are staunch followers of the Lord in every sense of the word!
Resources and the huge property of the Azhwars are not in the form of money and land, but a skyfull of devotion, determination and "binding their emotions, love and affection to the core" for the Lord and towards the Lord only! Swamigal had rightly described this interaction of the Azhwars with the Lord as the experience that will happen in Heaven only!
Velukkudi Swamigal started with Kodha Sthuthi and explained the lines of the Pasuram" Vaiyaththu Vaazhveergal" in such a simple manner, as any body will follow with ease and instantly practise the inner meaning of the Pasuram with such belief! We shed all the worldly pleasures during this " Nonbu" and think of the Lord and HIM only to lead a pious, truthful, paying obeisance to the words of the elders, practicing only righteous actions and finally raching the FEET of the LORD!
Sculpting is part and parcel of our rich cultural heritage! There are a lot of difficult procedures before we see the glistening statues of the Gods and Goddesses in their splendour! Stage by stage the untiring fingers, chistle, mould, place in castings, and unrelently reach for the final product, which is flawless and that is par excellence and that make all Indians proud of their artistic enormity!
Budding young, very talented, beautiful vocalist K. Gayathri, disciple of Suguna Purushothaman, rightly and very interestingly pictured the " Prabhatha Sangeetham", it's values and virtues, displaying her emotional feelings, that was a treat for the viewers! Her ablutions for her Guru was remarkable!
Finally the piece of excellence"Niraimathi" in Hamsanandhi, touched our hearts and minds for the sweet and neat rendering by graceful Gayathri.
Thanks again Jayalakshmi, for your elegant presence and good diction!
